    The CAPM test is consisting of 150 mutually-exclusive, four-option, multiple-choice questions. The exam is meant to test for a grasp of how to implement project management methods to accomplish project goals.

    Candidates must submit an application. Candidates are urged to apply online at pmi.org. Once begun, the program may not be cancelled but may be saved incomplete. It will stay available for 90 days.

    You may postpone or cancel your test if done at least two full days prior to your exam date. However, canceling or postponing the test within 30 days of a planned exam date would entail a rescheduling cost.

    Candidates who do not pass the test may repeat the exam two more times for a total of three times within one year following application acceptance.
